Do you live in Leeds and need help with your Elbow pain?

If you are suffering with elbow pain, you know how much it can affect your life. Often it affects things like gripping objects, carrying and even simple things like turning a key or taking the top of a jar. One of the reasonsis in the elbow and forearm lie most of the muscles that control your wrist and hand. So anything that affects the elbow will also affect your hand function.

Commonly, in the elbow we see overuse tendon problems such as Golfer’s (on the inside of the elbow) and Tennis elbow problems (outside of the elbow). Repeated tasks build up stress on the tendons and over time can lead to problems. The initial signs can be tightness in the forearm muscles and stiffness in the wrist, weakness of the wrist muscles and then finally pain when it has developed further.

Our approach to treating elbow pain is to look at reasons why you may be overworking your forearm and elbow muscles. We know that there is a strong link between shoulder and wrist issues, so our first consultation we will give you a full assessment and together we will make a plan for how we can get you pain-free as soon as possible.
